1. General information
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.
We reserve the right to adjust this Privacy Policy from time to time to comply with current legal requirements. Your new visit will be subject to the new privacy policy.
2. Technically necessary data
The use of our site is possible without providing personal information. When you visit our websites, information of general nature are automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the internet.
This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may provide and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about specific individuals. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and our offers.
3. Right to information, blocking, deletion, revocation and objection
You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to correct, block or delete your personal data, unless the legally required data storage is affected. Please contact our data protection officer (contact see above).
You can request the deletion of the data, as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. Insofar as such an obligation exists, we block your data at your request.
4. Contacting us and data transmission
To protect the security of your data when it is transmitted via contact form or e-mail, we use state-of-the-art encryption (TLS via HTTPS).
If you send us an enquiry via our website, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions or orders. Where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete your enquiry once it has been fully processed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations, but no later than [period, e.g. 12 months].
We use the following forms on our website:
- Forms provided by the form service Jotform. Our contractual partner is Jotform Ltd, 3 Albert Mews, Albert Road, London N4 3RD, United Kingdom. The service is operated by its parent company Jotform Inc., 4 Embarcadero Center, Suite 780, San Francisco, CA 94111, USA. The forms are embedded in our pages via iFrame. The data you enter is transmitted in encrypted form and stored on servers located in the European Union. Jotform processes the data exclusively on our behalf for the purpose of providing the form service.
An adequacy decision of the European Commission is in place for the United Kingdom (Art. 45 GDPR). Access to data from the USA, for example for support or maintenance purposes, cannot be entirely ruled out. Jotform Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). For the enquiry forms for special sensors, the data you enter is transmitted via SSL encryption directly to our server located in Germany.
Spam protection (hCaptcha)
To protect our forms against misuse and automated spam submissions, we use the hCaptcha service in our Jotform forms. The provider is Intuition Machines, Inc., 1065 SW 8th St #704, Miami, FL 33130, USA. hCaptcha checks whether an entry was made by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, your IP address, browser and device information, and data on your interaction with the form in particular are transmitted to hCaptcha and analysed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in protecting our website and forms against spam and misuse. Intuition Machines, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). Please note, nevertheless, that data transmission over the internet may be subject to security vulnerabilities (e.g. when sending e-mails).
5. Use of cookies
Partly cookies are used on our websites. This standard technology hides small text files that are stored on the device you are using and that make it possible, among other things, to make visiting a website more comfortable or safer. Cookies can also be used to better tailor the offerings on a website to the interests of the visitors or generally to improve them on the basis of statistical evaluations.
Cookies can not be used to access other files on your computer or identify your email address.
Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. If the default settings for cookies are stored in your browser, all processes go unnoticed for you in the background.

6. Google Tag Manager
Our website uses the Google Tag Manager program. Google Tag Manager is a solutionthat enables marketers to manage web rental tags. The Tag Manager tool itself is a cookie-free domain and does not collect personally identifiable information. The tool triggers other tags, which may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If disabled at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
The data will not be made available for use on other Google products without consent.
7. Use of Google Ads
We also use the Google advertising tool “Google Ads” to promote our website. As part of this, we use the analytics service “Conversion Tracking” provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter “Google”) on our website. If you have reached our website via a Google ad, a cookie will be placed on your computer.
These so-called “conversion cookies” are placed and stored on your computer by your web browser. They expire after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. Only statistical data, such as the total number of users, is collected.
If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that you, as a user, clicked on one of our ads placed with Google and were redirected to our website.
The information obtained by means of the conversion cookies is used by Google to compile visit statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and which pages of our website each user subsequently visited. However, we and other advertisers using “Google Ads” do not receive any information that could be used to personally identify users.
You can prevent the installation of conversion cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly, or by blocking cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com” specifically.

8. Use of Google Analytics
