HAEHNE with extended ATEX certification for explosive dust
HAEHNE was able to expand the already existing certification for explosive areas in gaseous environments also for the area of dusts.
Due to the increased demand from customers for intrinsically safe force measuring technology in the explosion protection area of the dusts, HAEHNE can now operate up to a maximum surface temperature of the device of 135° C. Applications for this are found, among other things, In demanding measuring tasks in plants with high dust loads such as, for example, lime plants or grain grinders. As in the past, design certification has been carried out so that the approval is valid in principle for all HAEHNE force measuring sensors. Thus, customer-specific solutions with special adaptations of the sensors are also covered by the certification.
