Web Tension With Measuring Rolls
Measuring rolls are complete mechanical systems for measuring web tension. You can either obtain all the components you need to install a measuring roll from a single source, or you can obtain a measuring roll with internal force sensors.
We basically distinguish between single-sided and double-sided measuring rolls. Different types are used depending on the dimensions and force range.

For special requirements, especially for large roll diameters, HAEHNE can supply sensors for mounting into the roll shell. This makes it possible to build segmented rolls, e.g. for flatness measurement and also for nip force measurement in winders.
