HAEHNE receives official vote of thanks
POSCO, the largest Korean steel producer and fourth largest steel supplier in the world, thanks HAEHNE for its special commitment.
After a typhoon caused exceptionally severe damage to an important production line in Pohang, Korea, in September 2022, it was a matter of utmost urgency for POSCO to restart production there as soon as possible. For this purpose, strip tension sensors destroyed by the typhoon also had to be repaired and put back into operation. For HAEHNE it was a matter of course to take the necessary measures. An on-site inspection, a repair at the headquarters in Erkrath, Germany, and a subsequent commissioning in Pohang took place quickly. As a result, production could be resumed in time for the scheduled date. The entire HAEHNE team was very pleased about the formal recognition by POSCO.
