Intelligent force measuring technology with IO-Link amplifier
The IO-Link from HAEHNE is a universal data interface with intelligent two-way communication for data transmission between the plant control system and the force measurement sensors in the field.
The IO-Link from HAEHNE is a universal data interface with intelligent two-way communication for data transmission between the plant control system and the force measurement sensors in the field. HAEHNE now offers an IO-Link interface for force and strip tension sensors and is on its way to force measurement 4.0.
The IO-Link from HAEHNE is a universal data interface with intelligent two-way communication for data transmission between the plant control system and the force measurement sensors in the field. The connected HAEHNE sensors transmit via the IO-Link not only the pure sensor measured values but also further information to the controller, such as type designation, standardization, status messages and characteristic curve. The sensor signals are transmitted with a cycle time of 1 ms is converted into digital signals, averaged and made available to the interface circuit via the IO-Link master.
In return, the higher-level controller forwards information and settings for parameterization to the sensor, so that installation and commissioning in particular can be significantly simplified. The HAEHNE IO-Link interface also offers many advantages during production and maintenance, such as a comprehensive diagnostic option for the sensor and information with regard to possible troubleshooting, maintenance or replacement of the devices. All this can be conveniently set and checked via the interface.
The HAEHNE IO-Link amplifier is available in two versions. The amplifier, which is permanently connected to a HAEHNE force sensor, is delivered with already stored sensor data. In the second version, strain gauge force sensors from other manufacturers can also be evaluated with the HAEHNE electronics.
