New force measuring roller for stranding machines

The RMR3 series force measuring rollers have been specially developed for measuring wire tension in cage and tubular stranding machines. High accuracy and complete compensation of disturbance variables

As with all HAEHNE sensors for wire tension measurement, the internal double bending beam system impresses with its high accuracy, high linearity and high rigidity. Thanks to its special design, the effects of centrifugal and Coriolis forces are fully compensated. This gives you precise measurement with low wire tension and a small wrap angle, even in rotating applications. Active overload protection across the entire width of the sensor makes the RMR3 series particularly suitable for harsh applications, e.g. in steel wire stranding process environments.

The blue dot makes the difference

The RMR3 is another product that HAEHNE provides with the blue dot. This indicates the direction of force application on the load cell and will gradually replace the previous red dot.
